I always find William Bennet's description of Deleuze's work helpful for
explaining his ideas and beliefs. This is from "the Authorized Guide to
Western Knowledge":
"As the wise Deleuze puts it, we are all organisms with a sacred
internal essence, known as a territory. We learn the essential Truths
through life experience, by performing these truths, or territorialize
them. This, combined with the brilliant notion of the organism without
a body, provides a firm base for distilling sacred values in youth."
