Been working hard on BwO myself of late. 1606 London. James I's nightmare
is just beginning - the recurrent nightmare of capitalism and the decoded
flows...... hey you! Yeah you, your royal highness. Are you the husband
of the Earth or just a rat's arse
suspended from the sky?
Which got me thinking. What is a BwO. Thanks to all those who exposed it
so brilliantly, by the way. I have a BwO in the house right now (or
more than 1) in my 5 month old daughter. You should see the flows!
Vocal flows, connections and assemblages, shit flows, vomit flows, milk
flows going in with that buccal preproprioceptive apparatus. Sure the
BwO is flows stopped, the death drive is intrinsic to drive (and this is
already implict in Beyond the Pleasure Principle), because its
not another drive but a thing drives do, stop, exaust themselves,
even while they are leaping,
jumping, intensifying or dossolving...... We could call this death. I
don't think we should feel
so bad about death. after all, isn't that the sensibility of the
siociety as an organism. What do you grieve? The death of the tribe
(territorialism), the death of the Earth (mystery cults), the death of
kings (Shakespeare), the death of me (privatisation)? There may be more
to grief than organisms, however. I think grief, might be linked to
faciality and all those basic forms of bonding too (organisms
still...?) BwOs dont grieve. a BwO,
essentially, is the thing that organs are inscribed on or appended to to
make the organism.
Thus the Earth was the BwO for the socius, or the socius is a BwO for a
society, or the despot is a BwO on which the organs of the folk are
connected up (the peacock's tail), and capitaism is a BwO covered in
private citizens..... writing falls on a BwO like the judgement of ......
