Help me to tease this out just a little bit: I have a text before me. It
is A Thousand Plateaus. I am reading it. It presents me with diagrams,
maps, axiomatics that apply to various machines, various assemblages.
Can I refer to the text itself as a machine? A machine that serves to
trace a line of flight, line of thought (including a supplement entailed
by the act of tracing)?
