dear malgosia,
thank you for answering most of my questions very directly. - if y'all
at spoons had shown this sort of candour to begin with then perhaps none
of this would need to be discussed.... ;-)
i take your point that you're not "running a democracy".
so what _are_ you running?
i was honestly not aware(possibly due to my own inattention,of course)
until reading your post that spoons had an agenda for the lists at all,
even something as simple as a loose notion of 'meritocracy'. i suppose
i thought that the agenda was set simply by what people posted? or a
sort of 'here's a way to discuss things, use it'?
i don't necessarily think that it _shouldn't_ have an agenda, but it
might help to stop "crappy spouting" if anyone knew what the agenda was?
in the three years of so i've been a regular subscriber, no one's ever,
to my knowledge, mentioned the idea of an 'agenda'? i mean, have i been
part of an agenda and not known it all this time? maybe i don't like
the agenda? or maybe i love it and want to do more to see it come to
fruition? but as i don't know what it is, or even - until now - that it
exists... well... what is it?!
hmn. okay, i'm just trying to figure it out. "to discuss d&g without any
crappy spouting"? - is that about it?
hey, that's a pretty good agenda.
_i only wish i'd known about it earlier..._
best wishes,
dan
