this is what i mean by axioms for everybody, "ever more hybrid and
differentiated populations present a proliferating number of 'target
markets' that can each be addressed by specific marketing strategies -- one
for gay latino males between the ages of eighteen and twenty-two, another
for chinese-american teenage girls, and so forth."
