For a reading that reintroduces transcendence back
into Deleuze and Guattari you might wish to look at
Goodchild's work. There's an amusing letter from
Deleuze at the beginning of Goodchild's first book on
D&G that clearly distinguishes Deleuze's own position
from the one Goodchild is there attributing to him.
Goodchild seems to be seeking some noxious synthesis
of Levinas and schizoanalysis. Given that Levinas'
conception of the Other seems to be a superstitious
mystification of the Other, I say no thanks!
