Thank you all for your commentary. I found it to be very helpful.
  I have been doing some intensive study of Bruno Bettelheim's work on Little
Joey in his "The Empty Fortress" in order to discover more about desiring-
machines, and there is truly some incredible stuff there, highly creative. I'm
also attempting to understand just what Guattari meant by a "subject group" so
I can begin to facilitate them rather than engaging in ordinary therapy. Is it
possible to understand what he meant without understanding what happened in
May '68? Were there anything close to subject groups forming at that time?
Should I study that a little more closely? 
How about how D&G relate to the Situationists? It seems there's a lot of room
for connection.
