I?m surprised that you think that accounting is such a good idea since
in one of Deleuze?s lectures he makes the point that the capitalist
axiomatic is nothing but an accounting system. ... this much worker
discontent > this much union rights and another axiom/accounting
procedure is added (only to be deleted once the agitation is past).
As for the "flow narrative" being uncritical! As they make abundantly
clear in A-O it is the fear of decoded flows that haunts all societies -
only we have the "privilege" of living in a society that functions by
decoded flows. No D&G never bounce up and down screaming decoded flows
bad, but do they need to? And is it that simple anyway "There is no need
for fear or hope, only to look for new weapons."
Again why describe their concepts as "capitalist productionist
(metaphysical) logic" when they employ/deploy naturalistic
anti-metaphysical concepts - which is wh we both have no problem in
describing the "flight of capital" as a flow.
If you insist that "in the end" there is always a metaphysics then I
would point out that at that endpoint there are only two metaphysical
doctrines : Being or Becoming and I know which one I?d rather be
theorising...
Jon.
