Martin Tyler, World Cup 98. Am I showing my molarity or my
spectacularity? No, I'm not a Collingwood
supporter.
Am I the commentator? No. I am a commentator, just as you have
commentated upon me. I recycled Tyler because Pippus Longstocking has
a quality of the sporting-theatrical which could only be rendered in
commentary.
> What I like about Pippus is his tone. He cares.
Like away. One of the things that annoys me is the construction which
holds that if you challenge someone because they speak rubbish in
Nietzschean-apocalyptic voice then you're beating down a great
thinker, and that you *don't* care. Sure I care. I care heaps. But I
don't care for Pippus Longstocking and what he cares for. And I see
plenty of rancour coming from him and from you about my stance on it.
