perhaps 'forget' is a bit strong. but D&G do indeed write about a map
altoghether different from the trace. See ATP, pp. 12-5. "it is a queston
of method: the tracing should always be put back on the map." p. 13
i'll have to think more about the machinic phylum and the problems
you have raised. don't have much that i can add at this point. as i said,
i'll look it over and try to post on it soon.
no need to worry about the muddle, we're all in it.
