Cat is back.
Just wanted to recommend to all interested in nomadology, becomings-
nomad (esp. Jon, as he's the one who initiated this thread) that they
try to take a look at Alphonso Lingis' _Excesses: Eros and Culture_,
esp. Ch. 2, *Savages*, where Lingis, whose book is actually a
nomadic travelogue--he betook himself to Bali, Kenya, Tanzania, went
scuba diving to experience the rapture of the deep--as well as a
thinking nomad--takes off from _Anti-Oedipus_, using extensively
D&G's schizo modelling of desire of couplings of flows and breaks,
and Freud's theory of perverse sexuality as play of surfaces,
erotogenic zones, and where he goes into D&G's bodies-without-
organs too. Lingis is brilliant. _Excesses_ will interest all
those interested in making it with death, as well as neonazism,
as well as the intentionality vs aimlessness of desire, as
well as representational/signifying systems vs free-flowing
libidinal excitations....
H'mmmmmmmmm.
