   The way highways are built reminded  of this technique of constructing
   housing, and this might have begun in roughy the same period of time.

   When building the modern highway a "construction train" is used to put
   down the cement concrete road.  flattening machines ride on the formwork
   at the roads edges and trucks ride alongside, filling up the empty forms.
   one long line of road where the machines continually advance in this
   production, possibly similar to the idea of mass produced housing as at
   the Bauhaus.
