This is addressed to anyone on DESIGN-L who is interested in typography.
Who'designed'the Macintosh digital font 'Linoscript?' I am assisting a student
researching the history of the origins and current usage of Linoscript.
I've been told that the Mac. version belongs to Linotype-Hell but I have no
other information. The American Type Founder's version was known as 'Typo
Upright' and I don't have information on which American foundry first
introduced it or who made the hard metal version.
If anyone can enlighten me about these obscure matters I would be delighted.
