     Why silence from the list on the topic of the revised design
     of Twizzlers by Y&S Candies of Hershey, PA?


     Classic ribbed tubular design has been superseded by
     breakthrough Pull-n-Peel (TM) engineering, based on 9X
     assemblage of structural wire rope, with zinc-coated steel
     drawn wire replaced by cherry flavored corn syrup, partially
     hydrogenated soybean oil and glyceryl monostearate.


     Will report back to list with research of elastic range,
     working load deformation, minimum breaking strength,
     flexibility, seismic resistance and compliance with Model
     Codes (BOCA, SBCCI & ICBO), Tri-Service Manual (Military/COE
     Construction), NFPA 13 and Earthquake Hazards Reduction Act.
