What is interesting to me about SMLXL? It is the possibility of examining the
relationship between the microcosmic and the macrocosmic in applied design.
That is, at what formal scale are we to live? How do we examine this rela-
tionship between the various scale levels of existence? That is, how are
these relationships examined and discovered and defined by explorations in
physical design? Of course, I, personally, would be interested in a study
of these relationships in basic design.
