All right! A jeroboam of methane to Prof Testa.

Maybe Peter Wheelwright, subscriber here, will tell a bit about
his studio at Parsons taking on the fetid Gowanus Canal in
festering Brooklyn, whose prelim designs Natsios glad-eyed
recently.

Reports the fat-patronage restoration of Gowanus Canal's
flushing system sounds like the money-pit for urban haute
arcouture embellishing liposuction of rotted flesh. As with
most of the grand long-term infrastructure projects around the
metropolis -- the real money-power is in the hyper-luxurious
preparation for Kleenex architecture.

Such as the unending flow of water tunnel pay-billions running
under Manhattan, with its ATM-access shaft at 120th and
Amsterdam which dispensed payola for decades to Columbia and
other nearby hands-always-out avaricious sinkholes of
edu-religio-medico-toxic destroyers of neighborhoods for
institutional gloss on rapacious commerce.

Such as up-for-contract-renewal BT -- dean, like Rem, needing
US work for international brochure, eagerly fronting for
ever-expansionist CU.

Such as St John the Divine, cycloning industrial-grade stone
dust into St Luke Hospital and homes for the elderly, for
sinkhole funds to never-ever-complete a grotesque wreck relic.

As Scott so daftly wheelied, there are wildcat tours of
stupefying NYC monuments available, none of them listed in the
reputable tour guides but most just out of view of sacred
chimera. Twelve feet of feces on the Hudson River bottom and
rising, slowly grounding the houseboat-relics at 79th Street
Marina.
