p.s. No really, I am about to graduate from here w/ a post-pro degree and
have some work experience from the Midwest already. I am curious as to
how to negotiate these difficult waters of value and assessment. I plan
to work for some others for some years and then who knows. But I want to
be aware of how this is done if I am going to continue beyond an office
into my own. Just complaining about bad fees or compensation does not
seem the answer. It may sound utopic, but if you think you are worth work
is worth something, you should know how to present it accordingly to the
public. There also seems a fine line between selling your wares and
selling yourself.
