It is more the result of what I have learned being a minion within the
architectural media and engaged with the work I have scrutinized and yet
supported.  To generate new theoretical concepts (as Deleuze suggests, is
the task of philosophy) as a journalist/architect, is what I expect of
myself.  We are always, and for the most part, already-- consumed beings,
mediated.  To struggle beyond that is what I suggest we do, activate the
media, not be determined by it, but with the full understanding that one
cannot detach from the pervasive influences of Western techne.
