At the 1996 National Convention of the American Institute of Architects
held in Minneapolis on May 10-13, ninety-one (91) AIA members were
invested as Fellows. Of these, six (6) were women and three (3) were
African-American.
In addition to the ninety-one, eleven (11) Honorary Fellows were named.
These include:

(Note the absence of Fellows from Eastern Europe and "developing" countries)
