I'm sorry, Ron, for the cross posting of what follows. I hope my
description is clear enough and not too long. I would be very grateful to
any suggestion to help me orientating my services.
Why I'm seeking Graphic Designers ? I try to test my profile in that
surrounding. My boss (Consulting Graphic Designer) is undertaking to change
the orientation of his career. And I wonder if my profile would be
interesting for other Graphic Designers. Here is a rough description of my
present function in "studio ETC SA" since September 92:
As employee in that studio of graphic creation and production, I assist a
consulting graphic Designer in managing and producing material of
communication for Belgian and multinational companies. I manage:
*graphic production (with personal creative input): news, folders, ads,
signalisation, presentation and exhibition and education material, follow
of applications for identity corporate for example layout and pre-press,
etc.
*seeking for technical solutions and suppliers, follow of production,
client's contacts (mainly in English) at an European level.
I also organize and assume the office management's mission of the Studio (3
Creative Designers), the software/hardware upgrades and maintenance, set
up (with a File Maker specialist) a soft to manage jobs and time sheet,
initiate and assume the Internet connection. The Macintosh is a power tool
I use to improve the quality of the graphical message, the communication
and the organization in the company: XPress, Illustrator, Photoshop, ...,
File Maker, ..., Internet, ...
