IF ONLY I HAD THE TIME.
Currently, I'm trying to get through my final year in grad. school here at
NCSU. The story I'm planning is going to be apart of a multimedia program I'm
doing for my thiesis with which I'm going to do some character and mechanical
designs for.
AKIRA was not one of the first Ainme I've seen but it is one of the best ( the
manga took it a LOT further than a 2hr. move ever could!). Another manga that
goes along the lines of grand future cities and the socio-political effects
running it may have in the age of supertechnology is Appleseed by Masamune
Shirow. He cretes whole universes and writes essays on some of the finer
points of his creations along with the manga. Very nice.
Have you seen Ghost in the Shell? Shirow created that as well.
