At one time in my life I worked for a Design/Build full service buildier.
We had a design team of an Architect, CAD Draftsman, and an Interior
Designer. We had about 5 to 10homes in production at a time. The
Interior Designer would help make color choices, material selections, and
Some of the non-structural design.
The Interior Designer was busy. The homes had a construction price of
$300,000+. Each room would have a detailed finish schedule. By the
time she choice carpet, paint, light fixtures, cabinets, tile, hardwood floor,
and alot of hand holding by the client. She was busy about 90% of the
time. The other 10% was helping with the bookkeeping just like the rest
of us.
