CALL FOR PAPERS
COLLOQUI, Cornell University's annual journal of planning and urban issues,
was founded as a forum for practitioners, faculty and students in the
planning profession and related fields. The journal presents contemporary
urban planning issues from a wide range of social, political, economic,
geographic and historical perspectives.
For the 1997 edition, which will be published in the spring, we are seeking:
* Case studies and analytical or policy-oriented papers on any topic of
interest to those within the planning field.
* Articles for a special section with the theme PLANNING HEGEMONIES AND
HERESIES. [What broad ideas have informed planning theory and practice?
What are the ideas and practices that have gone unquestioned by planners,
of the present or of the past? What are the new ideas and practices that
have challenged them?]
ARTICLE ABSTRACTS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL OCTOBER 25, 1996.
PAPERS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY NOVEMBER 15, 1996.
Submission Criteria:
Hard copies should be double-spaced, 1-1/4" margins, maximum 20 pages.
Articles should also be on computer disk; guidelines provided upon request.
Camera-ready or digitized graphics appropriate for 8-1/2" x 11" format,
black and white, are welcome.
COLLOQUI reserves the right to edit articles in cooperation with the author(s).

Manual for Writers_, 5th edition.
Use in-text references (e.g. Jones, 1955:16).
