Stupid Architectural Question:
Why would the buildings attacked be chosen?
Given the choice --
WTC versus Wall Street
Pentagon versus CIA
I would have thought that 'hitting' the latter two would have inflicted
more than the ones chosen. (would've killed stock brokers and spooks --
arguably the nastier variety of Capitalist functionaries -- rather than
insurance workers and military administrators).
Clue: does architectural form have something to do with the choice? Do
the objects destroyed qualify as 'psychological stabilizers' c.v. Colin
Rowe, Appendix to Collage City?
