A rebuilding of the Berlin Wall in Berlin in plastic would not be much
different than, for example, a reenactment of a Civil War battle.

the thing that keeps coming to mind, for me, about the walls
being built is that it is like Christo's artwork, running fence,
gone very bad. and made permanent. never associating it
with 'walls' i always imagined it referenced e-poles in their
geometric planes, crossing and cutting into hillsides, land.
but then again, it is also the efficiency of a system, its rapid
construction and scale that may also relate. it's strange to
compare Christo's Running Fence w/ Sharon's Standing Wall.
