if made from (transparent)ice, no indirect lighting necessary.
opalescence, translucidescence, transparency, direct trought the samw
walls.
a new kind of cathedrals. Nevers, Bourges, Reims.
the problem is the duration of the building/work in the scale of time;
the height limit of the arched construction without using vertical wall;
and how to produce colored "windows" like the vitrails in the gothic
"rosaces". meaby reproducing the mosaiques techniques using small colored
ice cubes, like in your gin martini/fizz, eventually with a red cherry or
an olive green enclosed, to inhance the result.
btw a concrete igloo already exists under the white house. indirect lighting
indispensable, airconditioning/filtering/decontaminating/...ing/...ing
included. possible inhabitants already froozen.
