But was the anonymous sculptor of the "Victoire de Samothrace" or "Venus de
Milo" a depredator?. eventually just the PR man of some local ethical
thinker of the time , producing for "some eyes only", certainly not for the
populace anyways. (those aesthetes/thinkers are probably lost for ever)

and don't forget some  buildings are constructed by architects just to feed
the need for cheap housing or general, common purpose.
few  have  now the possibility to produce for some few eyes only as those
oldtimers did.
