It's a fairly primitive system, based on a simple slide bar and
red/green imaging software. Nothing new, and nothing that can't be done
by moving a digital camera 2.5" horizontally and manipulating the 2
images with Adobe Photoshop.
It seems no manufacturer wants (so far) to invest in what could be a
simple dual-image digital camera, and built-in software that permits
automatic output in either red/green, side-by-side, or sequential
formatting. It would be easy to do.
