a few of those images remind me of Gursky.

Thank you very much for these minimalist (socialist) images.

This is quite an interesting collection of images.
The austere central space of this building reminds me of The Garden
Court, The Palace Hotel in San Francisco.

That kind of space, but more complex, is found in The Hyatt Regency in
San Francisco.

My family enjoyed both spaces over the years. Both places hold
fond memories for us. And, they transcend minimalist attitudes with their
luxurious amenities.

See also (in details) the following:
http://www.familistere.com/site/index.php ( the industrial site was
the first organizing workers , educating, helping their needs.), on a
Fourier basis for pre-socialist utopy still alive around the place.
(Godin was a a producer of wonderful cast iron stoves, bathtubs,
and kitchen accessories, still working at the same place ( where the Duc
de Guise probably lived )
(between Paris and Brussels)
I visited the place, a few decades ago. ( production quality is not
exactly the same recemtly, ...)

if available in public library, look for "Jean Baptiste Nndré Godin,
1817 - 1888, - The Familistéere at Guise, or the equivalents of wealth",
Bruxelles, Editions des Archives de l'Architecture Moderne", 2e edition,
1980.

In the courtyard of his workshop ( quite a town...) he had a plaque
with the address ^ Hommes, soyez nous favorables".
