we use emergency moderation on Architexturez when things go technically
wrong, e.g., when some list member has an auto responder and for every
mail you get "I will be out of office" replies on the list. flaming and
other wars are controlled by "post only x number messages per hour"
option, where the software controls the interval of posting, giving guys
enough time to cool down.
