This claim, (I do not know the page number off hand-but the book is fun to
read and very short) along with her claim that Heidegger effectively
murdered Husserl (p. 66) and Jasper's painful realisation that Heidegger
was hopelessly flawed as a person (pp. 46-48), is quoted in E.Ettinger,
Hannah Arendt/ Martin Heidegger. Yale UP, 1995. Ettinger certainly gives
the impression that Arendt and Jaspers were gluttons for punishment and
Heidegger was more than happy to dish it out.
Cheers, Richard
