Beste Jan,

Some? If Heidegger had been a doctor juris I would
have expected him to be consistent. As the man who
once said _hodos maepote methodos_ (a way never a
method) I expect him to use langauge in a creative
way. And I do believe Heidegger to be very creative
- it his his thinking that makes him into a
re-worder of words (even his own).

In both senses of the word, I hope. It would be a
relief if it were true (as I claim) that there are
no Names representing orthodoxy in matters of
interpretation of Heidegger (as once happened in
Marx's case).
It would even be more of a relief if it were true
(as I claim in imitation of Rorty) that Heidegger's
thinking is not "systematic" but "edifying". It
would mean that the man undoubtedly had totalitarian
sympathies but that his thinking went its own way.
Heidegger is reported to have said once to one of
his sons: "it" thinks in me.

Thanks for this beautiful poem.
