You can engage the Other('s) by "adopting his jargon," ( Rorty) which usually means "undergoing the strain" of adapting your ideas to some shared form of putting things. Or, you can risk laying out your thoughts in your own jargon, the presumption being that your jargon performs a version of "listening to the voice of Being" which is powerful enough to induce others to try to co-respond ( ent-sprechen, ant-worten) with it. Heidegger managed that successfully. I agree with Rene that Ariosto did not. None-the-less, I don't necessarily want to say to Ariosto "do it somewhere else" ( even though I wish he would). But if he does risk such an endeavor here, he's gotta be ready to put up with some expressions of annoyance.
