For those supporters of the ongoing development of the
Architexturez project, please read the information below
and consider contributing posts and ideas to the project:
[forwarded e-mail from Anand Bhatt, with regard to developments
and needs at the Architexturez project that has ties with Design-L]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. IN-ENACTION, the Architexturez mailing list needs posts providing
a window to the world: cc or fwd to in-enaction@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx if
Design-List posts look interesting for south asia audiences. subscribe
list info at:
http://mail.architexturez.net/mailman/listinfo/in-enaction/
------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Architexturez has a tonne of web infrastructure, so if people need
websites or weblogs (and i notice some Design-L people host at
Geocities/Blogger-- we can publish via
http://www.architexturez.net/FILES/
and people can share into a dedicated architecture and space
environment it is possible to do mailing lists, message boards and
what-have-you.
Architexturez can also run very high end programmes etc., or mirror
sites e.g.,
http://www.architexturez.net/FILES/vincent.cellier/ is also
www.sysmik.org (this is also the space for student works and short,
sharp
presentations).
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Things are mostly free of cost, and open source. We will soon have an
Architexturez print edition, mostly concerned with south asia metters.
Architexturez is also looking for curators and area specialists who can
help us gather document collections, lead discussion, point at possible
areas of interest and generally help in areas of their specializations.
