we read:
"contemplated is where things are at in terms of tool-use in architecture,
compared to where they could be, given where the rest of the technological
world is at, with specific regard to architectural knowledge of the
environment, and theorization of such..." one can think of architexturez as
an information mapping and mining process, a set of web-based technologies
one might use to further one's comprehension of the profession, it's scope,
function and field, the sets of processes and subjectivities.
with the present focus on south Asia, the attempt is compile a diverse range
of perceptions, texts, works and subjectivities one encounters in the
sub-continent; and relate it to what is known about the body of the
profession at large. this is an ambitious project, and we have been pursuing
it architexturez by modulating and writing information mining and archiving
technologies in Architexturez Subject Gateway

http://www.architexturez.net/sub.gate/). this is done by,
1. Mining a modified version of Harvest distributed search engine
2. an online information archiving engine
2.a categorised listing of salient documents about architecture
2.b an architecture ontology creation tool
the technologies are ready to go, and we now need to populate the site with
information. we already have a raw database of information. we have also
created an easy-to-use, forms based interface to transfer it to the world
visible database. people can work at their own pace, and choose areas that
coincide with their interests and research.
