Brian, copying this to the enaction list, one time only. I have been
thinking about the captioning and delaying plays in Gautam Bhatia -- I think
there is a lot of mannerism here in that sense! simply don't know as to how
one contextualises it in india? to say the drawing board is a mechanism that
brings all this about? or it is just a deleuzian diagramme -- the eye
detaching from the hand that draws; tracing, overlaying and so on!

the borders on images, i don't know. the Empire.. series, i removed the
borders per your suggestion; as for the rest, an empty box while the picture
is arriving? i know i am in error, can't choose between a composition where
things dissolve in white space, and a framed one! some other errors i made
and kept, this one, i seriously can't decide.

there was also the question of image sizes (in pixels and megabytes), i have
been testing the site on various screens and bandwidth, trying to see the
time-to-arrive (the House of Customs official, slow and ponderous; Fall off
the Empire, rather quick) by toying with various .jpg compressions. also,
printing the images at various sizes.
