Massimiliano Fuksas will be in Istanbul for ARKIMEET conferences

Internationally acclaimed architect, Massimiliano Fuksas, is in Istanbul on
the 17th of February, 2004.

The third of the international conference series, ARKIMEET, organized by
Arkitera Architecture Center with the sponsorship of Betonart, the new

Massimiliano Fuksas. During the lecture, Turkish architects, academicians
and students will have the chance of listening to Fuksas's architectural
approach and of viewing his recent works.

ARKIMEET conferences organized by Arkitera Architecture Center started off
with a mission of providing the needed international discussion platform for
Turkish architectural and design community. The discussion platform not only
plays an important role in the contemporary Turkish architecture, but also
carries Turkey to international architectural agenda as well.

which supports architectural culture in various ways, is the main sponsor of
the conference of Massimiliano Fuksas. The organization of ARKIMEET is
carried out by Arkitera Architecture Center, which is active in Turkish
architectural culture in the last three years with its various activities.

ARKIMEET had started to bring world-renowned architects to Istanbul with
Wolf Prix,
co-founder of Coop Himmelb(l)au, and later Dominique Perrault. Italian
architect Massimiliano Fuksas, the third guest of ARKIMEET, will first give
a lecture on his architectural approach and his latest works, and later on
will meet the distinguished Turkish architects and academicians at a
reception.

The curator of 7th Venice Biennale, Massimiliano Fuksas, works on his
innovative designs in Rome and Paris. Salzburg Europark; Italian Space
Agency Headquarters; Rome Congress Center, the winner of an international
architectural competition, are among his important projects.

It is also possible to reach further information on ARKIMEET conferences and
the schedule for the upcoming meetings from the website, www.arkimeet.com.
