An MLA goof-up does not make GNCTD, nor MCD (which probably forgot to tell
MLA the chaupal was listed in 2002) better. Seems some minor pow-wow is up
between GNCTD bhagidaari promoting bill and MCD-MoUD empowered committee
promoting PIL for unprotected heritage. About how much each and all these
care about heritage chaupals and urban villages requires separate prose,
but here MCD, faring-better at same time:
Lease of life for Shahjahanabad arteries

? MCD is now redesigning and streetscaping the Red Fort-Jama Masjid
corridor and the adjacent areas. The project has been assigned to
architect and urban designer Pradeep Sachdeva, who has already made a
presentation ? Plazas will be developed all along the corridor. These will
come up in front of all the major historical landmarks. These will be kept
hawker-free
//hawker-free pretty plazas! maybe public-art and rock-band next?
Celtic rock for Capital, all the way from France

France?s leading rock band Matmatah ... will perform at The Garden of Five
Senses on Saturday
//for shahajahanabad arteries PS will need concurrence of, lets us see,
committee born of Red Fort PIL, one just born of the general PIL, parties
and courts in Jama Masjid and related PIL, MCD task-force that just met,
bhagidaars for whom Delhi Govt just passed its heritage Bill, Foundation
previous LG had set up in DDA, draft-makers whose draft DMP-2021 present
LG just approved, (maybe) walled-city-festival makers of vijay-goel time,
walled city white-paper-makers on that rebound, old and new
walled-city-board markers, special byelaw-makers of nowadays, MLAs and
Councilors who been make transport plans, central and state ministers of
S&T, Tourism, Transport and other things with interest, public authorities
making ministers plans, prospective PIL filers (on heritage,
heritage-walks, public transport, public toilets, public arteries,
public-art, disaster, etc) ...do ASI, DDA, DUAC, etc, approve projects,
besides NGO partners, nowadays? then them to... also, there might be
nit-picking about project being beyond jurisdiction of MCD, without design
competition, etc... OP Jain only can manage this multiplicity.
