Former architecture professor suing OSU

A former OSU assistant professor of architecture and his wife are
accusing the university of violating his academic freedom and wrongfully
firing him two years ago.
In a lawsuit filed in Payne County in July, Eric and Hilda Connell also
accused Oklahoma State University officials of harassing and defaming
them and of misrepresenting the latitude he would be given in teaching
his courses.

Connell’s lawsuit also alleges misrepresentation by OSU because he was
“led to believe he would be able to teach his written course material
and create course projects when he took the position” and “that the
understanding of architectural theory would be acceptable for instruction.”
