The event aims at bringing together all those involved in the building
development cycle such as architects, engineers, contractors and
suppliers to facilitate networking and multidisciplinary contact.
The event is also being supported by the Tata Steel Hollow Sections Group.
Tata Steel also announced 'LINKS', a design 'commentation to be held
during the expo. Presided over by a prestigious jury, the four
participating teams of architects, structural designers, artists and
builders headed by Dhanajay Dake, Sen Kapadia, Ajanta Sen Pooviah and
Sameep Padora will be creating innovative installations by imaginatively
using the hollow sections.
The winning design will be dedicated to Mumbai as a public-space sculpture.
