the Pune Municipal Corporation has appointed India’s leading rating
agency Crisil to draw up a city development plan. Crisil will assess the
infrastructural requirements needed to upgrade slum, traffic, transport
and river conditions of the city.
A Crisil team that arrived in the city on Tuesday is expected to submit
its draft proposal to the PMC within a fortnight. ‘‘Crisil, in its
consultative capacity, will look at the gaps in the city’s
infrastructure and come out with an investment plan,’’ municipal
commissioner Nitin Kareer said
