Major Cuban Architecture Forum
Havana, Apr 4 (Prensa Latina) National Union of Architects and
Construction Engineers of Cuba (UNAICC) expert Maritza Barcelo announced
that the eastern city of Camaguey will host the 4th International
Congress on Architecture and Engineering, April 27 to 29.
Barcelo told Prensa Latina that delegates will focus on the use of the
environment, ecological architecture and management of hydrograph
basins, the relation between health tourism and environment, and
education and training.
She explained UNAICC is made up of five societies and there will be many
professional meetings in Cuba this year, highlighting that of the Civil
Engineering meeting, which took place in Havana attended by
professionals from all over the world.
The Conference on Mechanical Engineering, the 3rd International
Convention on the Comprehensive Use of Water and the 3rd International
Conference on Mechanical, Electric and Industrial Engineering are major
coming events in Cuba in 2006, she said.
