Background of Competition: The 2006 World Industrial Design Fair Ningbo
China will be hold in Ningbo China on Sep23th-25th. The fair is the only
exposition that endorsed by ICSID(The International Council of Societies
of Industrial Design) in China and it is also the only exposition that
is hosted by CIDA(China Industrial Design Association) ,Industrial
Design Branch of China Mechanics Engineering Society (membership of
ICSID) and Ningbo city government in China together.

The fair including a theme forum and a theme competition provides the
platform for business and communication at professional field with
Chinese manufacture and Chinese higher ID education , and focus on the
real effect of buyers and sellers.

The Zhenhai District of Ningbo city sponsors the competition and has the
honorable name of the competition name. The organization committee of
the competition and the fair will arrange all pre-elected works of
competition to participate in the fair.

Theme of Competition: Safety;Health;Environment.

Objective of Competition: Cultivating new design industries；Improving
ability of design innovation；Better quality of life content.

Condition of Entrants: anybody, any team or any organizations from the
world professional design field except member ,employee and relatives of
jury and the organization committee of competition.

Design Categories: home appliance, manufacture and IT communications
which do not violate intellectual property law.

Registration Fee: free.

Submission of Designs:
1, Both design and registration form (DOWNLOAD)submit at the same time.
2, A2（420mm*594mm）,200dpi.
3, One design only one space of a whole page with jpg type.
4, Effect or expression of design : any styles.
5, One design includes ：whole picture、part picture、introduction
words(but never designer’s name on the design page)；

each category has been assigned one first grade award，two second grade
awards，three third grade awards.

Note:1,All awards people can participate in the fair ,forum and local
enterprises free and the organization committee will pay them local
expenses.2, 18 awards people from first to third award will been paid
travel fee in China.3,Each prize can been changed into US dollar freely.
The Declaration of Intellectual Property: The intellectual property
belong to hosts of the competition but designers have right to get
payment and signing. The host will apply to SIPO of China for the awards.
