CHICAGO, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Developers of a condo in the famed Oak Park
village near Chicago got not bouquets but bricks -- in the form of a
hefty fine -- for using the wrong bricks.
Commenting on the $188,223 fine, the village planner said the architect
and the developer used a type of brick that doesn't "fit ... in to the
neighborhood," reports the Chicago Sun-Times.
