Gopal Sathe

New Delhi, August 7: In 2001, work started on demolishing buildings in the Rouse Avenue area to create a landscaped park. In the demolition that took place then, those who had to vacate included then Minister for Transport Pervez Hashmi, then Principal Secretary to the Delhi Chief Minister S Regunathan, and National Museum Director-General Dr R D Choudhury.
