The Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) is a leading 
international partnership practicing contemporary architecture, urbanism 
and cultural analysis. It is engaged in a large number of projects in 
Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America.

OMA has an immediate need for a CAD/DTP Senior IT Specialist for 
providing advice to the board, IT management, purchase, control and 
second line hands-on helpdesk. Candidates must be fluent in English, 
have a European work permit, be service-oriented, and feel confident in 
a complex, stressful and chaotic context. Previous experience in an 
architectural firm is highly desirable.


Duties include:

    * Maintaining our computer systems for approximately 120 
workstations in the main office.
    * Provide research, procurement, maintenance, trouble-shooting and 
repairs of software, hardware, and peripherals.
    * Provide hands-on second-line help-desk support and manage 
office-wide CAD standards.
    * Maintain relationships with hardware and software suppliers and 
third-party IT consultants.
    * Install software applications, new software releases, operating 
systems and upgrades.
    * Troubleshoot and monitor office network and internet performance 
issues.
    * Perform system backups and recovery.


Further requirements:

    * Ability to support a range of CAD, modeling and graphics software 
such as AutoCAD (including AutoLISP), Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, 
3D Max.
    * AutoCAD programming and customization using scripts, AutoLISP, 
etc. to automate production for increased efficiency.
    * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
