The P.A.N. [progressive architecture network] exhibit, which will open on October 26th at the Frederieke Taylor Gallery www.frederieketaylorgallery.com in New York, brings together five young architectural offices that work internationally and share a common attitude, rather than the belief in a similar style or formal doctrine. Among these architects an open and dynamic relationship has come into being, initiated by the ArchiLab www.archilab.org meetings in Orléans organized by Frédéric Migayrou and Marie-Ange Brayer. The studios that are featured in the exhibit are: Sadar Vuga Arhitekti from Ljubljana, R&Sie(n) from Paris, J. Mayer H. Architects from Berlin, IaN+ from Rome and Archi-Tectonics from New York.

-----------------------

"The exhibition's visual excitement -writes Winka Dubbeldam, who curated the event together with Helene Furjan- is analogous to the development of a dynamic organism; it should be viewed as a four-dimensional section through the network's material productions".

The exhibit, which will be in New York until December 2nd, will then travel to Berlin, Florence and Ljubljana. A conference, which will see the participation of the protagonists of the exhibit, will be held at the Wood Auditorium (Avery Hall) of Columbia University www.arch.columbia.edu on Monday October 23rd at 6.30 pm. A catalogue, produced with the editorial support of iMage www.image-web.org and published by Mandragora www.mandragora.it, comes with the exhibit.

iMage provided editorial support.
