The new White County Law Enforcement Center has been recognized for its
design, receiving an award of merit from the South Central Construction
trade magazine.
“Smith-Doyle Contractors and SpiritArchitecture Group are extremely
proud to have been awarded, and White County should be proud as well,”
Don H. Abernathy, Jr., project manager, said. “This award was chosen
from numerous public building projects submitted for review and
consideration by contractors across the entire southeastern United States.”
The award was given at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis Nov. 30.
“The part that they zoned in on was the whole process of working with
the owners to come up with the design,” Abernathy said.
