Drift.Net
What: Drift Net is an interactive performance exploring the concept of
the blogging phenomenon; where blogging is a virtual way of living and
re-living a moment in time or perhaps even as future memories. The
performance uses unconventional instruments - LED and muscle sensory
device - to interact with a performer's body and the movement of the
body is translated into quantitative data that manifest via the
elements of sound, light and video. Conceived and directed by Choy Ka
Fai, TheatreWorks' Associate Artist for 2007.

Deviation: Dichterliebe
What: By Wilson Goh at Theatre Studio. Deviation is a departure from
what is prescribed or expected. This project is part of the artist's
on-going dialogue with ideas of performance. In particular, he hopes
to explore new means of approaching the performance of classical
music. By introducing new elements to an existing score, he hopes to
discover the extent to which these elements can alter the piece by
removing or augmenting its original intentions.Free tickets available
at the door one hour before the performance on a
first-come-first-served basis.

PHOTOGRAPHY EDGE!
What: At Level 9 Promenade. Photography Edge! is a creative showcase
of works by the Professional Photographers Association (Singapore)/
PPAS which comprise many of the cr� the la cr� of photographers
who have defined the photography scene in Singapore for the past two
decades. The exhibition documents the importance of photography as a
medium in design, and reveals the creative processes of design through
the use of photography.

10TouchPoints Design Competition Launch Exhibit + Designers'
Marketplace
What: Be there to learn more about the design briefs from our exhibit,
users and owners of the 10 top-voted items for redesign, and start the
collaborative redesign process with history, context and people in
mind.

King Lear: The Avoidance of Love
What: By Ho Tzu Nyen and Fran Borgia at Theatre Studio. Both "theory"
and "theatre" share the common Greek root word, "theoria". Hence,
instead of adding yet another re-enactment of King Lear to the world,
Ho Tzu Nyen and Fran Borgia put on stage one of the most marvellous
essays ever written on Shakespeare's masterpiece - Stanley Cavell's
The Avoidance of Love. This weaves an exquisite network of theories
about blindness, insight, theatricality and love. Free tickets
available at the door one hour before the performance on a
first-come-first-served basis.

Painting for STAMP has completed.
40 post-boxes are now readying for public voting starting from 2nd
April, next Monday.
The votes will stand 50% of the total score with the other 50% from
the judges.
The 10 highest votes will be getting prizes with 2 grand prize for
each category.
Voters even get the chance to win prizes!
So watch out for the voting dates which last till end of April.
