Marx’s belief of everything solid melting into air might not exactly be
good news for all the realtors who have been trying to sell dreams of
concrete to countless city dwellers. But for renowned architect
Balakrishna Doshi its Marx’s connoted reference to the continuous

“Architecture is a reflection of the society. It has to be in keeping
with changing lifestyle of people its catering to. Ironically buildings
are made to outlive people, which is why a sound and well-conceptualised
building is always appreciated,” says Doshi in town to launch his
housing project.
